E-manuals and Trainings on How to Use Digital Technologies for P/CVE

Mythos Labs developed three e-manuals on: how to use social media for P/CVE, how to use media literacy and critical thinking for P/CVE, and how to conduct monitoring and evaluation of digital P/CVE campaigns. Using the e-manuals, Mythos Labs then conducted 10 workshops and trained 80+ civil society organizations from  countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. With mentorship from Mythos Labs, participants went on to develop, disseminate and measure 3 digital P/CVE campaigns around the world. The e-manuals continue to serve as a free resource for practitioners, available using the links below. This program was made possible with support from the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).

Workshop on ‘AI for P/CVE’

How to Fight Terror with Comedy

Mythos Labs conducted a first-of-its-kind ‘AI for P/CVE’ training program for CSOs from 15 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia. We taught practitioners how to use free/low-cost AI tools to identify, counter, and prevent violent extremism, how terrorists are already using AI to radicalize, train, and recruit, as well as how to navigate ethical concerns and risks around the use of AI in P/CVE.

As a result of the training program, participants’ confidence in their ability to use AI for P/CVE increased by 255%, and 96% of participants said they intend to use AI in their work going forward.

Mythos Labs, in collaboration with The High Commission of Canada in India, conducted a business bootcamp for female ecopreneurs called ‘Grow Greener Girl’. The Bootcamp empowered 22 female founders of early-stage green startups from India, Nepal and Bhutan by providing them with the training, resources and skills they need to grow their eco-friendly businesses. The Bootcamp also built a supportive network of female entrepreneurs to encourage the exchange of knowledge, opportunities and guidance related to entrepreneurship.

Mythos Labs, in collaboration with The High Commission of Canada in India, organized the ‘Grow Greener Girl’ business bootcamp, empowering 22 female founders of early-stage green startups from India, Nepal, and Bhutan. The initiative provided comprehensive training, resources, and skills essential for the growth of eco-friendly businesses. This collaborative effort not only equipped participants with tools for success but also fostered a supportive network among female entrepreneurs, promoting knowledge exchange and guidance in entrepreneurship. Additionally, in partnership with the UN Environment Programme, Mythos Labs extended its impact, training 20 women founders from across Asia on marketing, communications, and branding. The 3-day workshop incorporated innovative techniques, including the use of comedy and entertainment to amplify each startup’s message. Participants left with tangible assets and strategies, such as brand pyramids, customer personas, marketing plans, channel strategies, and video advertisement scripts, contributing to the sustainable development of their green businesses.
