Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communications plans and impact-driven strategies for
    @ReclaimYourPrivacy to raise awareness of digital rights and online privacy in India
  • Collaborate with social media marketing team to maintain a content calendar and develop
    informative and appealing content
  • Serve as key focal point with client engagements, overseeing project management and delivery
  • Actively look for rapid response opportunities that correspond with the campaign's objectives,
    and develop tactics with the support of the campaign team
  • Identify and build relationships with new and innovative partners including thought leaders,
    influencers, NGOs, entrepreneurs, youth groups, activists, think tanks
  • Develop and present professional and high quality client-facing deliverables, including campaign
    plans outlining objectives, strategy presentations with clear flow and targeted recommendations,
    audience, channels, partnerships, timelines etc.
  • Formulate plans to meet predetermined campaign impact metrics, and monitor and evaluate
    campaign engagement on a regular basis
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years experience managing and developing campaigns in the communications sector. Experience managing social impact campaigns is a plus
  • Strong interest in digital rights, online privacy, relevant Indian regulatory and policy frameworks
  • Good understanding of digital campaigning, social impact advocacy and communications strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, International Development, or related fields
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

Remuneration

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Oversee the delivery of multi-stakeholder and internationally facing projects
  • Create timelines, action plans and project roadmaps
  • Manage communications with clients and internal team members
  • Draft client-facing project reports and summaries as needed

 

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and evaluate the potential of new business verticals
  • Draft business proposals and grant applications

 

Marketing and Outreach

  • Develop and oversee marketing and outreach programs
  • Assist in management of email and social media communications

 

Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years experience working in a project management or analyst role at an international-facing organization
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, International Development, History, Economics or related fields
  • Strong interest in social impact, such as issues related to gender equality, countering violent extremism, international relations, sustainability and development
  • Strong writing skills and experience conducting qualitative research
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Prior experience conducting research is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Mine large data sets to uncover actionable trends and insights
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Streamline data analysis pipeline
  • Create data visualizations using Periscope, D3 or similar tools

 

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a data scientist analyzing and visualizing large data sets
  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficient in statistical computer languages including R, Python and SQL
  • Experience applying advanced statistical techniques and concepts including GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
  • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms
  • Interest in International Relations, development and/or national security

Contract: Part-time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative analysis of social media datasets to identify key disinformation narratives, trends and networks
  • Coordinate with data science team to refine inputs and analyze results of social media monitoring algorithms
  • Write research summaries and reports
  • Deliver oral briefings conveying key findings to project stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience researching online disinformation in Eastern Europe
  • Bachelors in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, International Development or related fields
  • Experience in creating research products for policy-makers
  • Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred but not required
